Moriah Elizabeth's "Create this Book"

I was browsing YouTube and came across a really interesting project made by YouTuber, Moriah Elizabeth. It's an interesting book called "Create this Book", which is based off the wildly popular "Wreck this Journal" books by Keri Smith. I just got my own copy in the mail, which I bought on Amazon for $12.59.

The premise is simple, instead of doing an insane amount of wrecking, "Create this Book" has you creating a variety of things within it's pages as you follow the colorful and interesting prompts. There are 242 pages simply waiting for your boundless creativity to fill them up. You create every part of the book, including how the cover looks. It's totally up to you!

The book comes plain looking, with a black and white cover, which has a strange waxy coating. A lot of reviews and such that I've read describe this coating as being difficult to lay colored pencils or sharpie markers over, as the former looks faded and the latter smears. Moriah Elizabeth gives a pretty interesting tip to overcome this though. She suggests using clear packing tape on top of the cover once you've finished coloring/painting (or whatever medium you've decided upon), as a way to "seal" it.
